What are your favourite Xena Episodes?

Mary says:

the Destiny Trilogy and the Ring Trilogy

Chris says:

Okay...I take it that you like the trilogy's...What inspires you about the triple long episodes?

Mary says:

It not the that it is the triple it is the theme... It makes it like a mini series or a short movie

Chris says:

Ah...I see your point...Did you enjoy watching the Xena Trilogy?

Chris says:

That is if you have seen it...

Mary says:

Yes that is a good one as well.

Chris says:

Yes I like that one...What are your favourite Xena websites on the web?

Mary says:

I like The Austrailian Information Page, I like Tom Simpon's Xenafan, Roach's site, http://www.arielx.com/ and I like my own but it is a work in progress cfxs.com

Chris says:

They are all very good Xena website's...What was your opinion when Season 5 started...the reason i ask this is because Gabby just started killing everyone, Callisto turns into an Angel, Xena gets pregnant, she kills all the Gods, and Xena and Gabby get frozen for 25 years!

Mary says:

season 5  well it wasnt one of their better ones... I did like the Eve ARc and Antony and Cleopatra

Chris says:

Yes i see...What is your opinion of Gabrielle's evil daughter Hope?

Mary says:

She is dead and that is  a good thing...

Chris says:

Yes maybe for Xena, Gabrielle and for the rest of the Xenaverse but dont you think that she could of made a better Season 5 for entertainment?...Anyway forget Hope who is your favourite guest star? eg Minya (Alison Wall), Ephiny (Danielle McCormack)?

Mary says:

Alex Tydings -- Aphrodite...

Chris says:

Ricardo Riera

Chris says:

What are your favourite episode's?

Ricardo says:

Itīs hard to narrow it down. I guess my favorites are "Dreamworker", "A Necessary Evil", "Sacrifice", "Adventures On The Sin Trade", "Seeds Of Faith" and "The Haunting Of Amphipolis". Those are the ones I can think up right now.

Chris says:

Those episodes are all the main episodes which are good to watch....What is your opinion of ''The Haunting of Amphipolis''?

Ricardo says:

I think it was one of the finest episodes for Season 6, which was a pretty tough season to make, because of all the changes that the series had (you know, the 25-year leap, the death or disaperance of many of the main characters and so on). I think that finding out about the horrible death of Xenaīs mother was very harsh and dramatic, and the reference to "Evil Dead"... well, that was just amazing

Ricardo says:

Also, they had a great villain. Too bad he was killed in that same episode.

Chris says:

I think that most people wouls agree on that...Who would be your favourite guest star? eg Aphrodite (Alexandra Tydings)?

Ricardo says:

My absolute favorite guest star is Bruce Campbell as Autolycus (speaking of the "Evil Dead"). His character was a hit every single time he showed up (although he is, originally, a "Hercules" character). Also, he didn`t appear on many episodes, so it was great to see him every once a while.

Chris says:

Yes another comedy character in Series...What are your favourite Xena Website?..eg - Mary D (http://www.ausxip.com)

Ricardo says:

My favorite Xena Website is Tomīs Xena Page, by Tom Simpson (www.xenafan,com). He has the best newsflash around, although I donīt know if heīs still working on it.

Chris says:

Tom's Xena Page is an extreme Xena site and is known to all xenafans on the Web...What were the first few episode's of Xena and why did you start watching it?

Ricardo says:

My first episode seen was "Dreamworker". I began watching the series in 1995, when it first aired. It took a time to grow on me, but afterwards I found it so great (the characters, the acting, the production aspects, the story), I was completely hooked. I even stopped watching the "Hercules" show (which I also love) and moved on to "Xena".

Chris says:

Thank You it was nice talking to you...and i hope that we talk again

Chris says:

Who is your favourite Guest Star?

Chris says:

Just one guest star please...

UnicornGirl says:

Aphrodite

Chris says:

Yes...A comedy character of the Series...What is your opinion of Hope?

Chris says:

If you are having trouble with this question, you can pass...

UnicornGirl says:

i think she was a great character in the series, she was the reason why gabby kept evolving as a person through the third season

Chris says:

Yes that is true...Gabrielle evolved her fighting skills and bravery from Season 3 as from Season 5 she went around killing everyone!...If you was Xena would you have killed Hope for your life?

Chris says:

Okay,...well if you are having trouble with that would you like to pass?

UnicornGirl says:

why must i pass, i answered the question didn't i?:S

Chris says:

No...could you please repeat your answer

UnicornGirl says:

hard question  , i think i wouldn't have killed hope, because it would not have been fair to gabby, she would be alone in life in a time she still really needed Xena to protect her

Chris says:

Very good answer, we agree totally...thank you for allowing us to interview you and your interview will be on the brand new CMXR Xena website in late September....Thank You

Interview 4

Edward

08.06 (UK time)

What are your favourite episodes?

Edward says:

I'll have to think about this one. There are favourites in every genre. Overall, A DAY IN THE LIFE. Comedy: FINS, FEMMES & GEMS. Drama: A GOOD DAY; Tragedy: The Caesar arc;

Chris says:

Yes I suppose they are all a little dramatic, there are 3 trilogies, may I ask which is your favourite or your opinion of one of them, if you have seen them...

Edward says:

I like the Ring trilogy the best

Chris says:

Yes, most people do...Favourite Villains and Gods? (including non evil Gods)?

Edward says:

Aphrodite as good )and mortal); Athena as both villain (forced by circumstance) and god; Ares on the male side; Draco and Argo's apple tempter in IN SICKNESS AND IN HEALTH; the Najara from CRUSADER as Xena's match, the Antexena (in the same that the red star Antares is the opponent of the red planet Ares or Mars)

Chris says:

Yes pure evil Gods they are...What is your opinion of Callisto, Alti and Valasca?

Edward says:

Callisto's an interesting character (and Hudson Leick put an interesting spin on her portrayal). Alti and Velasca are too emotionally one-or-two dimensional as characters (to develop beyond their self-imposed confines)- I've seen too many shamanesses and team leaders succumb to greed and lust after power for those character-types to hold much interest for me. Callisto, however, was caught.

Edward says:

She was a bit like the original Batman, I suppose.

Chris says:

Do you like any other Sci - Fi? (e.g. Buffy the Vampire Slayer)?

Edward says:

I like anything that stretches the imagination. Any science fiction even when there was none on TV. The Pathfinder series, Space Patrol, Batman, some episodes of Get Smart or Gilligan's Island. Buffy on current TV. There are a lot of shows that never make it to Australia. Conversely, there are some shows (like Spellbinder II - The Land of the Dragon Lord) that you might not have seen.

Chris says:

Have you got any ideas for are new site?

Edward says:

Hard to say: visual, thematic, or navigational? I'd prefer not to impose my (unimaginative?) solutions on others. Being an art critic is a heavy responsibility. Light pages with smart links are probably my favourite: i.e., information per second is an objective, so that dragonfly navigation is achievable (as opposed to green-haired sloth at full speed).

Chris says:

Okay, thank you for being interviewed... Interviewing from MSN Messenger...Edward...Xenite...15/09/02...08.11 (UK time)
